As of January 2010, with the release of the 2010 HUD-1, all updates are now delivered through the Standard Solutions Automatic Updater. Software programs, document updates, title insurance and other rates, and new features you have purchased are all delivered by this method. If you think you should have received a document or rate update by a certain date and you did not, please contact our technical support or services department.

To get updates, your Auto-Updater must be running in the system tray/notification area, in the lower-right corner of your screen, next to the clock. When you hover over it with your mouse, it will usually give a message, "Waiting next check at" followed by the next day's date.

Each computer on which our software is run must have the Auto-Updater running. It starts when you log in to your computer, as long as the program is in your Startup folder in your Start menu. If your Auto-Updater is not running please call for assistance.

Your current SC version number can be found in the 2010 HUD-1 program. To check your version, navigate to the HUD-1 screen while in one of your closing files. Click the Help menu, then "About Standard Solutions..." Your version number is near the bottom of the screen and begins with "CX."
