Standard's
Auto-Updater Module keeps our
Support & Maintenance Plan clients up to date
with the latest program and document updates. The
Auto-Updater searches our Web site daily for updates
and automatically installs the updates in the background
while you continue to work.
The
updates you get through the Auto-Updater Module include
the new (ALTA 2006) title insurance document packages,
new IRS forms, updated loan documents, etc. All title
insurance state packages that have been approved for
distribution are available through the Auto-Updater.
System
Requirements for
the Auto-Updater:
- Program
version 10.20.8 (click Help, then
About, then About Standard Conveyancer)
- MS
Windows 2000, XP or Vista operating system (please
call for Vista installation assistance)
- A
persistent Internet connection that activates
on computer startup
The
Auto-Updater should only be installed on only one
workstation in your Standard Conveyancer network.
(If this workstation is retired in the future from
Standard Conveyancer usage, another workstation in
your office will need to have the Auto-Updater installed.)
How
to Meet to the System Requirements:
You
can quickly update to 10.20.8 from any version
between 10.20 and 10.20.7. In Standard Conveyancer,
click Help, then SC on the Web, then
Check for Web Updates.
If
you have an older version, (9, 10, 10.1, 10.3, or
10.31), please call us for assistance.
