hours! Once that is accomplished, you'll want to master
the art of consistently closing quickly and effectively,
every single time. Training classes are offered regularly
at our corporate offices along with personalized one-on-one
training offered on-site at your own office at very affordable
rates.
Standard
Solutions is dedicated to ensuring that you get the most
out of your software systems. We offer a variety of
standard and customized training courses for Standard Conveyancer,
each with the goal of helping our clients get the most out
of our systems for maximum efficiency, productivity and
versatility.
Different
offices will require specific types of training. We have
categorized training requirements for each office according
to their needs as we understand them.
Basic:
Basics of program use for users who have had little or no
training - covers all aspects of the program necessary for
processing files
Refresher/Intermediate: Analysis of current program usage/work
methods and training to optimize use of program.
Advanced:
Program setup/optimization, document customization, advanced
reporting capabilities, and other topics as necessary
Check writing: Training on newly enhanced Check writing/Disbursement
Accounting procedures for clients who previously purchased
this option
Our
New-User Training, included
with the purchase of Standard Conveyancer, is designed to
bring new clients and first-time users up to speed in a
single day. For current clients, Advanced
Training is designed to allow users to take advantage
of the advanced features and customization capabilities
of Standard Conveyancer. For clients upgrading from
our DOS-based system, DOS to Windows
Training covers the new features and capabilities of
our Windows-based system. Custom training on specific
topics is also available.
All
courses are offered either at your office or at our training
facility, and can be tailored to suit your needs.
Standard
Conveyancer New-User Training

New-User
Training is a full day (approximately 5-6 hours) program
included with new purchases of Standard Conveyancer.
It is also available separately for new employees of current
clients needing training on the system. The training
includes 4-5 hours of instruction and 1-2 hours of hands-on
time. Optional features (Event Tracking and Checkwriting)
may take extra time.

After
the training sessions, each trainee will open a new file,
enter data for a closing, and print a closing package and
title policy. We can also help you begin to customize
Standard Conveyancer to the needs of your office.

Conveyancer is an extremely powerful, flexible, and highly
customizable system. Aside from getting you up to
speed on producing closing and title documents, our goal
for the New-User Training is to teach you how, with our
support in the future, to add information and customize
the system as you begin to get ideas about how you would
like Standard Conveyancer to work for you.
Standard
Conveyancer Advanced Training

Advanced
Training covers the advanced features, settings and customization
capabilities of Standard Conveyancer, as well as training
on optional modules of the system. Training is tailored
to your needs and the goals you wish to accomplish, and
is offered individually or in groups.
Available
topics for Advanced Training include:
- Document
Customization: Learn how to create and
edit Standard Conveyancer documents. While Standard
Solutions offers a custom document service, it can be
easier and more economical to create simple documents
yourself. Learn how to use copies of existing Standard
Conveyancer documents to give you a head start and how
to "code" your documents to pull information
from your files.
- Print
Batch Customization: Learn how to tailor
the output of Standard Conveyancer for your needs and
convenience. You can set up your print batches to give
you the documents you need for the individual requirements
of your clients. Learn when and how to set up automatic
Lender Document Selections, and how to remove or hide
documents you never use.
- Lender
Model Files: Learn how to create and customize
Model Files for individual lenders and transaction types. Eliminate
the need to re-enter the same information in multiple
closing files. A Lender Model File contains the fees
and other information needed on the HUD-1 for the individual
lender, and fills in the information on the HUD-1 for
each new closing file opened for the lender.
- Report
Production: Standard Conveyancer comes with dozens
of reports and report formats to pull information from
your closings database for scheduling, planning, or accounting
purposes. Don't spend valuable time looking up and
typing information that can be automatically generated
and printed in seconds.
- Event
Tracking and Customization (optional feature): Learn
how to use and customize the Event Tracking System and
eliminate the need to manually generate lists of paperwork
you are waiting for. Track requests for tax certificates,
plot plans, title exams, mortgage discharges, death certificates,
and anything else you need to keep track of. Learn
how to make Standard Conveyancer automatically generate
tracking items based upon criteria that you choose.
- Checkwriting
and Customization (optional feature): Learn how
to use Standard Conveyancer and Quicken™ to automate your
checkwriting, reconcile closings, and generate balance
sheets. Standard Conveyancer can read your HUD-1
and automatically write checks based on your entries.
Learn how to customize the system to hold checks or re-direct
payments to alternative parties.
- Automation
and System Optimization: Standard Conveyancer
contains many settings and customizable automatic functions
that you can control and modify. Learn how to automate
data entry, set program options, and optimize the system
to simplify and streamline your work.
- Web/Closing
Experience (optional feature): This course includes
instruction on using Closing Experience and how it affects
file tracking and orders within Standard Conveyancer.

Want
to switch to our Windows version but don't know what you'd
be getting into? (Rest assured that just about everything
you do in Standard Conveyancer for DOS will still work.)
For current clients using our DOS version and upgrading
to Windows -- learn new features and enhancements offered
through the Windows platform.
