2011 program update:
An
update to Standard Conveyancer has been released. The release
went out to different offices at different times early in January,
and everyone should have it now.
All
our updates download and install automatically through the Standard
Solutions Auto-Updater. Here's
some information on how to make sure you are getting updates
and how to check your version number. You should currently have
version CX_001_0001_000625 ("625").
What's
included in the update? Most of the improvements are to the
new HUD-1 program and screens -- click

First
American rate changes:
First
American has changed rates in some states to include a refinance
loan policy rate different from the purchase loan policy
rate. Click
here for more information on how to get the correct premium.
Checkwriting now compatible with new Quicken versions:
Our
Checkwriting/Accounting module has been updated work with newer
versions of Quicken, up through Quicken 2010. You will see a
new "Account Name" field on the Checkwriting Control
screen do not use this if you are using Quicken 2004
or earlier. Click

Overriding
the Disbursed Amount on Line 202
To
enter a lower disbursed amount on line 202, right-click loan amount
figure and click "Show Different Loan Amount" on the
pop-up menu. The loan amount will move to the left and you can
then enter a new disbursed amount in the number field.
