We're
getting more calls recently from people with data merging problems
due to their MS Word not being up to date with the required
service packs.
Symptoms
include data missing from document merges, especially missing
signature lines. These problems are caused by programming issues
in MS Word -- issues that are easily remedied by updating Word.
You
can check your MS Word service pack status by clicking Help,
then About Microsoft Word. The first line of information
will look something like this:
Microsoft
Office Word 2003 (11.2213.2232) SP3
For
Word 2000, 2002 or 2003, if you do not see SP3, you do
not have the latest service pack.
