The
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development last week released
the long-expected revision
to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. The new RESPA
includes new HUD-1
and HUD-1A
settlement statements that report information corresponding
to the borrower's new
standardized Good Faith Estimate.
Use
of the new GFE and settlement statements is not required until
January 1, 2010.
These
new HUD forms will require extensive revisions to the data entry
screens and forms you use in Standard Conveyancer. Watch this
