Cumulative Update Recently Released
A recent
automatic update
should have brought everyone up to date with the latest improvements,
including:
-
Title Insurance
auto calculations now allow you to select "Shopped For" (or
not) to control whether the Loan Policy premium goes to section B or
C of the CD. You also can now delete the charge and move it to the
Seller-Paid or Paid by Others column.
-
Program improvements ensure you get the correct descriptions, exceptions and
requirements for your file, and fix a "nesting error" in certain complex documents.
-
The AIR and AP tables
on the CD merge much more reliably now that you can make the choice in the Options section at the bottom of the Names tab. Look for “Force Printing of AIR” and “Force Printing of AP.”
-
Closing Disclosure and ALTA Settlement
Statement empty lines get deleted, when the option is selected on the print screen,
to allow for the use of extended line numbers.
-
You have the option of whether to include the condominium info in
the Property Address. Click "Preferences" on the Info menu for this and other options.
-
There was
an update in July for the Barnstable County Transfer Tax
increase. As always, double check when you are expecting an update for a rate increase of any kind!
Also, coming
soon:
-
NNew versions of the Closing Disclosure documents will give you more control over how they are filled in, especially in the explanations
as to whether fees have changed since the Loan Estimate.
-
A new Seller Addendum
will allow you to obtain a signature from the seller that
confirms they received their CD.
Changes Coming to SC Support!
Entering the second year of TRID, we’re going to be rolling out some changes that will allow us
to improve Standard Conveyancer Support.
We’ll
be making some organizational changes in order to provide better access to help
when you need it. There will be new Standard Support tools, including more flexible support
hours, a new dedicated phone number for support, and new remote connection options. Look for more information soon!

2016 Holiday Support Calendar
Our technical
support
staffing calendar has been updated for 2016. As in the
past, emergency service is not available on certain holidays.
Did you know?
You can use a
key combination to enlarge or shrink the text size on your CD
screens. “Ctrl +” will enlarge the text and "Ctrl –" will shrink
it. The size changes about 25% at a time, so you should be able
to find a size that looks good on your monitor.
In the main
program screens (the ones that pre-date the CD), use the font
size setting on the tool bar. We’ve found that it works best to
keep it set between 10 and 14. /font>
