Time
to get ready for 1099 filing season!
With
the end of the year approaching, it's time to get ready for
1099-S tax filing time.
Standard
Solutions' 1099-S Year-End Processing Service:
Standard
Solutions' Year-End Processing Service provides cost-effective
and accurate 1099-S filings. Our service help you to avoid costly
filing mistakes though errors and omissions and helps ensure
timely filing.
Just
like Standard Conveyancer automates calculations and document
generation, our YEP service uses the data already in your software.
This makes it more cost-effective than manual processes performed
by your accountants or staff. You don't need to waste precious
time and resources filling out tax forms by hand!
Please
take a moment to learn
more about our Year-End Processing Service. If you are already
familiar with the service from past years, you can go right
to the fee,
deadline, and early sign-up discount information to sign
up for 2012.
The
early sign-up discount deadline is December 1st, 2011.

Important
specifications for new SC computers
Always
check with your major software vendors before ordering new computer
hardware. Our
Web site lists compatibility information for Standard Conveyancer.
If
you are ordering new computers for Standard Conveyancer:
1.
The 32-bit version of the Windows 7 operating system is far
preferable to the 64-bit version for program compatibility.
The 64-bit version can be made to work but there will be complications
and additional expenses that most people would prefer to avoid.
2.
Standard Conveyancer is compatible with Microsoft Office
Word 2007 and 2010. "Home and Student" versions
of these programs will not work, however.
3.
The long-standing rule that you needed to use Quicken 2004 or
older with Standard Conveyancer is no longer true. Program
changes allow use of newer versions of Quicken. We have
tested up through Quicken 2011 Deluxe.
4.
A new Standard Conveyancer QuickBooks interface is available.
Please contact us for more information.

QuickTip:
Entering
tax info
The
Annual Tax field on the Financial screen does not "control"
the monthly real estate tax escrow amount on the HUD-1 Page 2,
and vice versa.
The
Annual Tax field is used for Page 1 tax proration and title insurance
schedules. The program will fill 1/12 of the figure into line
1004, but you can change line 1004 if the escrow is based on a
future tax amount that is higher.
If
you change line 1004, it will not change or update the Annual
Tax field on the Financial screen.
