New Massachusetts
Document Formatting Standards
In
October, the Massachusetts Registers of Deeds Association finalized
revised Document Formatting Standards for recorded documents.
This is a change to the document formatting rules in the 2006
Massachusetts Deed Indexing Standards that originally were
to have taken effect on January 1, 2007.
For
our perspective, the major change from the original standards
is an easing up of the rules concerning page margins. We will
be revising documents as necessary meet the new formatting standards.
