Update
CDs for our latest version of Standard Conveyancer are
about to ship. While the original purpose of the cumulative
update was to ensure that all clients have the latest Standard
Conveyancer features, we have used this opportunity
to add new technology to the program. If you have sent us
your completed Client
Profile Update, you should be receiving a CD soon.
As
everyone should know by now, we have for a long time been
on a dual-update track. Your update disk will have new features
plus the latest versions of documents and programs, but all
critical updates are posted on the Program Updates
page at www.standardsolutions.com.
Software
Updates at Your Convenience: One of our most exciting
enhancements is a feature that automatically checks your system
when you visit our Web site and detects which updates you
need. Moving forward, the software will know exactly which
updates have already been applied. The system will automatically
install any new updates for you rather than requiring you
to select from a list of available downloads.
Printing
Enhancements: As new versions of MS Word become available
(Word 2003 and beyond), we will continue to enhance our products
to ensure compatibility. Our software has been enhanced to
provide much improved printing performance with Word 2003,
while limiting the possibility of Word producing blank pages
within your merged documents.
For
more information on features included in the Standard Conveyancer
Update CD, you can view
a copy of the Welcome Message/Release Notes.
Remember
you don't have to wait for a disk to get critical updates.
You can download self-installing updates very quickly at your
convenience to keep your Standard Conveyancer up to
date the most efficient way possible.
Recent
document updates available on our Web site include:
IRS
W-9 (Rev. 1-2005)
IRS 1099 (with 2006 due dates),
IRS 8821 (Rev. 4-2004)
IRS 4506 (Rev. 1-2004)
IRS 4506-T (Rev. 1-2004)
Revised Homestead Info Sheet (new coverage limits)
New Non-Foreign Certificate for entities (FIRPTA)
Updated UFFI Certification
Also
released last year was a major document and program package
that updated Standard Conveyancer to handle the new
Massachusetts Notary Public requirements. In
the works currently are additional new documents, including
notes and riders for use with the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
"InterestFirst" and "Interest Only" programs.
If
your firm has not yet sent in a completed Client
Profile Update, please print one and fax it to us as soon
as possible so that we can review your current configuration
and ship your update CD.
