  •   Windows Vista: Supported. "Home" editions may present unforeseen problems in a business networking environment and are not recommended.
  •   Windows XP Professional: Supported. (XP Home is not recommended by Microsoft for business environments. XP Media Edition is not supported.)
    
  •   Windows 2000: Supported.
    
  •   Windows ME: Not supported. (Not recommended by Microsoft for business environments.)
    
  •   Windows NT Workstation: Supported.
    
  •   Windows 98: Not Supported.
    
    
•   Microsoft Word (Service Pack Information):
  
  •   Word 2007: Compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP. Minor differences in the way you save or print merged documents.
  •   Word 2003 with SP3: Compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000.
    
  •   Word XP/2002 with SP3: Compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 (however, a software problem in Word XP/2002 will prevent it from operating at maximum speed).
    
  •   Word 2000 with SP3: Compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 98.
    
  •   Word 97: Compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows 98.
    
    
•   Intuit Quicken 99-2007: For optional Accounting/Checkwriting feature.
  

2. Computer Equipment Specifications:

•   Processor: Intel Pentium, minimum 1 GHz, or equivalent AMD chip. (Celeron chip performance is not adequate in most cases.)
  
•   Memory (RAM): Minimum 768 MB for Windows Vista; 512 MB for Windows XP; 256 MB for Windows 2000/NT/98.
  
•   Hard Drive Space: Minimum 250 MB for program; 1 GB free space recommended for proper system operation.
  
•   Video: 1024x768 screen resolution recommended, 800x600 minimum.
  
•   Printer: Letter and legal paper sources required for auto selection (see Supported Printers List).
  
•   Networking: Windows server/workstation or peer-to-peer.
